Hello all, I have attached a flyer in which all elementary school aged children in Newton are invited to participate in our October 5 program.  We are inviting all elementary school aged children in the Nordic Communities to participate as well and please feel free to post the flyer on your website or use just part of the text if that suits you better. Astrid Lindgren event at the Scandinavian Living Center West Newton

October 5, 2008, 2 – 4 PM

The Scandinavian Living Center, 206 Waltham Street, West Newton is inviting all elementary school age children in Newton to come play games based on Lindgren’s books, learn about the author, Pippi Longstocking and other characters.  The program will also include information about Swedish culture, craft table for making orange wigs and story telling.  We will have Swedish treats for everyone and every child participant will receive a participation certificates. Parents are invited to enjoy the festivities while accompanying their children.  We will hold a raffle, which features Astrid Lindgren book prizes.
